I attended two dinners last night.. Chris's farewell and Josh's birthday.. Initially I thought I was only able to go for the birthday dinner and had to miss out on Chris's farewell.. but when I realised the timing of both the dinners.. I could actually make both.. which turned out great cos I didn't wanna miss either one of it..
So many turned up for Chris's farewell.. He's so loved!! We had an affirmation session for him.. mainly for those who aren't his cellies.. It was great to hear all the nice things that everyone had to say about him.. I had to leave early so I missed out on them dunking him in the pool.. That part was just inevitable and I'm sure he knew it was coming.. =)
The trip there was not too fun though as I spilled lotsa of the kanji I made for Josh's dinner in the car.. I tried to drive really slow (eventhough I was super late for the dinner).. but somehow at one of the U-turns... the kanji decided to go bongkus on me.. sigh! Had to wipe it out with whatever tissue and newspaper I had in the car..
Josh's place had awesome food as usual... The mutton was just excellent.. =) I was pretty tired by the time I reached there but as soon as I saw my cousins and my darling Jerome.. I was energized again.. I couldn't make Josh a cake this time so I bought him one and by accident made him a year younger.. lol...

God of All Comfort
One of the many names for the Lord is Comforter. What a perfect description!
His presence has certainly made me feel comfortable in the most uncomfortable situations. He has pulled me out from every situation I thought I'd be stuck in forever. He has such an ability to bring peace to my every trauma. I believe this God of comfort has caught every tear and collected my pain. He is with me when it hurts the most and He will always be there for me.
He has been there for me when husband, friends, hope and money were all gone. He is there in all my dark places. I truly am grateful Father.
I will never be able to know what tomorrow holds, but it is such a great comfort to know that God holds all my tomorrows.

2 Corinthians 1 :3, 4
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfor with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Speak to the God of all comfort, for His comfort is sure for every tomorrow.

Judson Gets Hitched
Last Saturday I witness Judson and Getsy committing their lives to each other... It was a beautiful wedding.. one of the more memorable ones..
What a cool bride!!
Judson then sang Shania Twain's 'From This Moment' as his bride walked down the aisle.. He then held her hand, looked intensely into her eyes till the song ended.. I was already tearing.. It was so sweet.. I'm guessing this was a surprise for Getsy.. What an awesome way to start the wedding..
Adriel's Getsy cousin.. What a small world.. =)
Manage to get a picture with the lovely couple...
Getsy drove herself to the wedding.. in this...

It was so fun catching up, to only realise he was living in Selayang as well all these years.. So near yet we never bumped into each other..Adriel's Getsy cousin.. What a small world.. =)

Food Glorious Food
I've just been eating and sleeping since I reached Ipoh.. Surrounded by such good cooks.. How not to eat??
Arrived in Ipoh yesterday afternoon and my auntie had prepared chicken curry, chicken paratel and a whole lot of other stuff for us.. Then for dinner my other auntie fried fish, made sothi and her awesome sambal belacan.
For breakfast I had appam and thosai with my cousins.. at this place that I used to visit often much younger.. It was good.. except for some guys at the next table who were just so freaking rude... Somebody ought to teach them some manners.. They were just ordering the waiters around and shouting from the table..
Josh cooked fried rice for lunch.. I helped.. yes I helped.. =) lol.. Though I'm sure he thought I was a very noisy kitchen helper..
Menu for tomorrow is crab curry.. woooohoooo.. can't wait..
Apart from eating.. I've just been sleeping and lazing around.. hope I don't put on too much weight after this week in Ipoh..
