Don't neglect your teeth

Many say that doing scaling your teeth is bad as it will thin your tooth and hurt your gums.

If you love your teeth, don't heed this advice because it is bad advice! You should go for scaling at least once in every 6 months.

Most people don't even visit the dentist unless they go for scaling or have a tooth ache. When you go for your regular scaling, that's when the dentist would then check your teeth to see if all are in good condition, cavities, etc and also clean your teeth in ways that a toothbrush can't.

Can you imagine if that check is only done once a year??

I recently visited the dentist and got some really bad news! Basically I've now got a cavity in one of my tooth that is so big and deep that the dentist is not sure if she can save it. So she put some medicated filling for me and we'll know the news in one month whether she is able to save that tooth for me.

So don't neglect your teeth. Make that visit to the dentist soon if you haven't for the last 6 months.
