Bangkok Experience

I spend last Saturday to early Wednesday in Bangkok with some of my good high school friends.. This is our first trip together overseas after knowing each other for about 9 to 10 years..

We reached Bangkok around 3pm and checked into our hotel.. Without wasting much time, we headed straight to our first shopping venue, MBK, which is just a train stop away from our hotel.. I must say that we shopped quite a lot for our first day there.. The things were just so cheap.. How not to buy?

We then headed for a foot massage.. The massage shop was just next door to our hotel... It felt so good after the massage to just walk less than a minute and head to bed..

The next day we started early and headed off to Chatuchak.. One of the biggest market in Bangkok.. You could find just about anything here.. From clothes, accessories, pets, home appliances to food.. After shopping for about 6 hours.. I got pickpocket.. I lost my purse and my handphone.. I was shocked for a bit.. But surpringsly that shocked feeling only lasted for a bit.. I felt very calm after that.. God's presence was so real and I just knew that He would take care of me cos I still had 2.5 days to go in Bangkok.. And He definitely did take care of me.. My friends were very supportive.. both financially and emotionally.. There was not a moment that I lacked money for transport or food.. I even manage to shop a lil after I lost my purse..

During this trip I manage to catch up with my friends.. It's been so long since we've spend this much time together.. We use to see each other in school everyday.. But after we graduated, at least I haven't been keeping in touch much with them.. And I'm thankful for this trip.. They were really awesome company..

Overall, I enjoyed Bangkok very much... Would definitely go back there.. maybe take my parents along with me this time.. Probably do some sight-seeing as well..
