Fun and Sticky Night
So many turned up for Chris's farewell.. He's so loved!! We had an affirmation session for him.. mainly for those who aren't his cellies.. It was great to hear all the nice things that everyone had to say about him.. I had to leave early so I missed out on them dunking him in the pool.. That part was just inevitable and I'm sure he knew it was coming.. =)
The trip there was not too fun though as I spilled lotsa of the kanji I made for Josh's dinner in the car.. I tried to drive really slow (eventhough I was super late for the dinner).. but somehow at one of the U-turns... the kanji decided to go bongkus on me.. sigh! Had to wipe it out with whatever tissue and newspaper I had in the car..
Josh's place had awesome food as usual... The mutton was just excellent.. =) I was pretty tired by the time I reached there but as soon as I saw my cousins and my darling Jerome.. I was energized again.. I couldn't make Josh a cake this time so I bought him one and by accident made him a year younger.. lol...

God of All Comfort
His presence has certainly made me feel comfortable in the most uncomfortable situations. He has pulled me out from every situation I thought I'd be stuck in forever. He has such an ability to bring peace to my every trauma. I believe this God of comfort has caught every tear and collected my pain. He is with me when it hurts the most and He will always be there for me.
He has been there for me when husband, friends, hope and money were all gone. He is there in all my dark places. I truly am grateful Father.
I will never be able to know what tomorrow holds, but it is such a great comfort to know that God holds all my tomorrows.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfor with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Judson Gets Hitched
What a cool bride!!
Judson then sang Shania Twain's 'From This Moment' as his bride walked down the aisle.. He then held her hand, looked intensely into her eyes till the song ended.. I was already tearing.. It was so sweet.. I'm guessing this was a surprise for Getsy.. What an awesome way to start the wedding..
The ceremony was short and sweet with CCKL anchoring an awesome session in Praise and Worship.. God's presence was felt all over the sanctuary of TOD...
Presenting Mr. & Mrs. Judson ChhabraDinner was held at Bangsar Seafood Centre.. Judson and Getsy sure knows lotsa people.. I met up with so many friends whom I haven't seen in ages..
Elisa so beautiful pregnant..
Met some new friends..
Phoebe sang 'Sweet Child Of Mine' for the couple and needless to say, she was the bomb...
I love weddings!! =)

Food Glorious Food
Arrived in Ipoh yesterday afternoon and my auntie had prepared chicken curry, chicken paratel and a whole lot of other stuff for us.. Then for dinner my other auntie fried fish, made sothi and her awesome sambal belacan.
For breakfast I had appam and thosai with my cousins.. at this place that I used to visit often much younger.. It was good.. except for some guys at the next table who were just so freaking rude... Somebody ought to teach them some manners.. They were just ordering the waiters around and shouting from the table..
Josh cooked fried rice for lunch.. I helped.. yes I helped.. =) lol.. Though I'm sure he thought I was a very noisy kitchen helper..
Menu for tomorrow is crab curry.. woooohoooo.. can't wait..
Apart from eating.. I've just been sleeping and lazing around.. hope I don't put on too much weight after this week in Ipoh..

Yiiippppeeee...
I just finished my last paper for Year 2 and gonna be on holidays for 3 months now.. I've already planned out a list of things I wanna to do for the next 3 months..
- Spend quality time with relatives back in Ipoh
- Finish up the cross-stich that I started 3 months back
- Get a dress for Judson's wedding
- Start on a pretty patch-work for my blanket
- Shopping spree to Bangkok
- Diving holiday to Redang
- Meet up with ex-council mates
- Practice my fondant icing
- Clean up my room
- Help Shanti with her wedding
- Get a saree and dress for Shanti wedding
- Catch up with loads of other friends
- Temp a few days for Pam
- and the list goes on.....
Had a good start to my holidays.. went for Hillsongs United concert and it was awesome.. The sound system was mega chun.. and they sang so many songs..
Met my childhood friend Adeline at the concert.. It was a good time catching up... Haven't talked with her like that in years.. There were some really good memories at TOG.. kinda miss my time at TOG.. Sad that I didn't keep in touch with so many of them.. Have no idea where most of them are now..
Saw Reuben as well at the concert tonight... He was one of the leaders when I was in Youth Church back in TOG.. Amazed that he could still recognize me after all these years..

Icing my first cake
I've been baking for a few years now but this was the first cake I attempted to ice... Previously I would usually not ice the cake, or even if I do it would be really really simple.. maybe with just a little fruits or whipped cream.. I found icing a cake to be very messy.. and for years my mum has been wanting to teach me.. Somehow recently I got the interest to start icing and Tobias was my guinea pig.. =) Mum was just so delighted...
Tobias is a fan of Mickey Mouse so my cousin thought a Mickey Mouse cake would be great for him.. The cake was fairly simple to ice as I was able to get the tin with the exact shape.. It's not perfect but I'm happy with how it turned out, being my first time. Mum helped me out with the eyes and ears.. Hopefully I'll get better with practice..
